If you can stick with a vegan diet, that is a great commitment and I commend you. I would just suggest to try putting some line breaks in your post to make it more readable.

It's hard to get away from not using some type of energy to be able to read. The only true way that we can really reduce waste is to use renewable energy to power our computers and read books on the computer.

I love burt's bees products. I bought there bug repellent and it was great. It was a little greasy, but works really well and is all natural.

That is pretty strange. It is really sad that so many books are still being bought and most of it is due to schools and universities. As a computer science major, many of my professors now only use online resources and have moved away from making us buy books. Not only does it save some trees, but it's far cheaper :)

More cities across the country need to move to being either more walk friendly or have better transportation systems.

I envy your decision to move to a larger city. I've considered it myself a few times but don't think I would manage (lived in Florida almost all my life.) Concrete jungle fever I think they call it?

Either way, IMO your strategy is absolutely spot on. Gas prices are getting ridiculous, it's finally time for all of the available technologies to go to work. Only problem is, what happens to the millions of gas vehicles on the roads?
